Goathland is an excellent base for those wanting to explore the North York Moors. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, about 10 miles from Whitby.

The accommodation is within walking distance of the North York Moors Railway, the Mallyan Spout, the Wheeldale Roman Road, Beckhole and Grosmont.

The bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen, garage, dining room and lounge. It has a large lawn with views over the moors.

Goathland also has several public houses which serve food, such as the Inn On The Moor, the Goathland Hotel and the Mallyan Spout Hotel.
